Difficult choice.  I think Nezhmetidov had a more concrete position, so the Queen sacrifice was less risky, but better tactic.  Tal's was more impressive from a guts standpoint since it seems less concrete, but not as good from an overall standpoint, since it didn't lead directly to mate.  Impressive games from both though.  Thanks for the video.  Final vote is for Tal; I just like that sort of thing.

Nezhmetdinov. Why not a tournament of the great tacticians? I like this

Nez. If I could find a mate this sexy, I would immediately retire from chess and get the position tattooed on my body

Always a fan of Tal's constant yet daring pressure. But I think Nez imposes more danger with winning moves here. Would love to see more from Nez.

Analysis is off a bit too optimistic in Tal's game at 8"42 he says after kxn and Rf2 + Kd3 RxQ kxq bf6 and black pretty much just wins since the only way of defending the h pawn is Bg5 but the bishop trade would doom black because he can generate a passed pawn. Nope after Kg7 Kd3 h6?? gxh6+ and e5 wins for white!

Although Tal's game was great chess, I find Nez a bit more satisfying. I think that ending in a checkmate is more conclusive than ginding out more a more subtle advantage. Credit to both players though, nice games Mike! Thanks!

I didn't add up all the votes, but it looks like Nezhmetdinov takes it!

Stay tuned for the next "You Pick 'Em video" and thanks for the great responses!
